Well attached is the layout I am currently working on. I wanna make a flash template out of this one - and then if I can twist my dad's arm, use it as our family hosting site



A little explanation:

*The navigation bar (below the green wave) will pop-up on mouse-over
*In the green wave I want to add some "sparkles" of energy running through the render.
*I might try and make a little "movie"

Ask away!

Okay I have made some sort of .swf that will demonstrate what the buttons are meant to do.......

Whatever you do, don't make it in flash. It's a nice header, but hosting websites made in flash are very common and quite annoying to be honest.

Not neccessarily, it's your choice really. Which would you find easier to manage? You must also think, What about 56kers? and are flash anims. annoying?

some are annoying, others are hilarious, the rest are just awesome

I like the idea of the buttons, though you have to work on them.. the tween is not very nice on it.

Next time put the swf in a html file.. Otherwise it will look jaggy and crap

i Think that if u use flash in an html file like funkysoul said it will look great.. nice
