Right, I'm a young lad and am going to start my site up again. Problem is, until I get a lot of hits and a successful site, or donations, I can't afford to buy a domain. So, I'm stuck with the poor, "no-ambition-to-become-a-success" types of reviews, because my domain is a subdomain, and hard to remember.

So there's my problem. I struggle to pick up the hits I require for a decent domain, because I don't have the decent domain! Any tips on recieving a lot of visitors before purchasing a decent domain.

Once, I said, I will only purchase when we're rising, and was called unambitious and the like. No, I think I'm reasonable - willing to cash in, but would rather be cautious first.

So cheers guys, any help?

A huge help is ads, such as google ads... i'm not sure if google ads supports websites with non-domains. But if they do, start a photoshop tutorial site, and you could generate enough visitors to buy you a domain in a matter of days. Its pretty easy if you submit one tutorial to Pixel2life and Good-tutorials per day for about 5 days... Your flying :)

At HyeDesign.com/Forum, we offer free hosting and .com domains. It isnt up right now but once it is, check it out at the shop. There is only one available right now and it costs 600-700 HyeBux i think. "HyeBux is a currency used at the forum"

That sounds like a really good idea. Meaning you don't even have to spend money, just lose points lol.

Any idea when it'll be up?

Free hosting, just as good as paid hosting. Very easy to remember subdomain. Also supports parked and ad-on domains. It's post to host and only takes about an hour to get your hosting if you keep posting. It also has cpanel! Plus, domains are only 10 bucks. You should be able to find that in change laying around in about 2 weeks. :)
