Well here is the 2nd 3d competition here at p2l. stu won the first. there is NO prizes. we had a vote and we will be making a gun. any style is welcome. pistols to rifles take your pick. any level moddeler is welcome. please feel free to join even if you are a new to 3d. texturing is not required but would be nice. ok heres the more specific rules

1. must be a gun.
2. you have until thursday the 16 to finish. (yes i know long time)
3. must be completely your work.
4. must show 2 dif perspective views and 1 screenshot of the file in the program.
5. if a reference pic is used please post it.
6. any 3d program may be used
7. low poly or high poly models allowed.
8. good luck and hope theres a good turnout.

just try.... even 5 mins a day can give something... .mainly "start up, shutdown"

lol....i can save at least 3 of those 5 minutes setting teh "auto-startup" thing for whenever i get home from school

birdman how long you think till you will have time to make one? i can extend it another day or 2. just not like another week, you know what i mean. it would be nice to have you in on it.

the bottom half is not finished + it isnt in the right place... (might be, not shure)
tis gonna be a BIG gun ... man sized... sorta like a bazooka... that no real life person could ever hope of holding

ye shiv i fiddled with that zbrush for a while but never got the hang of it. lookin good. i think imma start on mine here in a while.

well lol i have been working on mine for about 2 hours and i just lost it all cause my comp locked up. so imma start on it again tomarrow i guess. dont forget to save

i've started mine but my c4d is having issues with my booleans so i dont know if its gonna be as nice as i had planned....ill post a bit of WIP iin a sec...


[edit] WIP's! yay! okay, the cool swirly thing is the "clip", i did that before he rest cuz originally it was gonna be the gun itself, but it got too swrily ...its in its very early stages, as it, i have the clip, and the general shape of the body....its gonna be some sniper like thing i think....anyhoo...here it is:

i have done some more... working soo slowly tho because i have been redoing each bit several times...
