AVG Free is pretty good, with all the usual stuff, Scanning; Repairing; External Media Scanning; etc.

yeah, what he said. AVG is pretty good. I use Norton though, seems like its better than all the others. I prefer it anyway :)

I use Kaspersky (paid version) haven't had one virus come near my PC since using this I love it

Used to use Nortons will never add Nortons onto any of my PC's ever again its junk. I used to get alerts from it saying I had viruses and it couldn't repair well whats the use of it.

Trend Micro. But I used to use McAfee, and that in my opinion was better.

I used to use Norton 2004, but then that wasn't doing its job probably...so now i downloaded Avast! which is free, Download from here
Since removing Norton and using that, it has already detected and deleted some viruses which must have been there when Norton was on.

So i would recommend Avast!
