Okay, I need to get 2MB upstream, and 256kB downstream.
Do you know who can provide this service?
This isn't just something I thought would be cool. I know it's possible.
I'm in England, btw.

Thanks.

Well actually the upstream will match your downstream in most cases.

How so?
I thought it was simply a matter of swapping the modems, which would swap my 2mb download for the 256k upload.
Is that not the case?

Not that I'm complaining. a matched download would suit me just fine.

The only way you can increase your upstream is to call your ISP and request it. They may even charge a bit more. For me it was 10 dollars for a month to get a solid 1.5 megs up and down. If you wonder how much I pay, with sbc dsl its 24.99.
