File field not working properly

Hi

I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and i have a problem with the File field.

im new to the File Field. The form works correctly because i recieve the email, but the problem is that the File Field doesn't send the actual file. What its actually is doing is just sending the text of the location of where the file is located. That to me isn't usful at all.

Can anyone help me please. I would like the File Field to acutally send me the actual file.

I believe that the file field is suppose to put the file as an attachment when i recieve the formmail.

am I right? ;)



Does anyone understand what I am talking about?????????? :D

I'm replying because i forgot to click on the email notification. I tried hitting on edit and looking for it but isn't there anymore so thats why im replying hope you all dont mind
