Dunno about the first problem but the others are because firefox renders code properly and follows web standards unlike IE.

i am able to fix these problems but it is a real drag.

also for some reason tables display differently. They have a 3D sort of look :)

Think of all the other people not using IE, it's a drag for them to see broken websites because people are too lazy to code properly :D

Tables look 3d if there is a border set in the HTML, looks like that in all browsers :D

I would redo everything in xhtml and in css, and use w3c to dowble check it all, then it should look the same.

It's realy normal for a first time Mozilla Firefox user to complain about the codereading, but they're very wrong. Mozilla has one of the best coderendering I've ever seen in a browser, so until Internet Explorer 7 it'll probably remain so.

If you websites doesn't work in Firefox you might want to reconsider you "career" in webdesigning?

Number one is caused my skinning programs like stylexp or whatever it is. I had the problem too. Just go to the compatability menue in firefoxes properties on right click of the shortcut and click disable visual styles.

i think last i saw figures 80% use ie and 15% use firefox/netscape (last 5% are other smaller ones), so when making a website you want to check your site in at leeast these 3 if not more browsers.
if you did your coding it shouldnt be a problem but there can at times be variations.

9% are firefox. Just read that in PC magazine. :) Anyways, I think there's an option to enable smooth-scrolling somewhere in the options menu which is what causes the shaking you're having.

Keep this on topic of his problems, there's a thread somewhere for browser debate.
