Maps in Editing Viewport

Hey All

I've been making a model in 3DS Max 7. I just added the textures, but I can only view the textures on the model if I render. How do you get it so the textures can be seen in the editing viewports. I know it's possible to do this because I've done it before, but I can't remember how! :P I'd appreciate some help. Thanks Dudes!

in the material editor (short key "m") look for a little checkered box thingi and click that...its towards the right on the ss below, above 'multi/subobject material' and on the left of the little blue thing:
