Just because you a .com name doesnt mean its good. If you have the right name in another extension it is still a good name :)

dont think so. its one of the most visited domains atm, extremely popular, since its one of the most useful ideas ever, have a look. You can bookmark RSS feeds that you like and share them with other people

There are billions (and I mean it) of options. If you want suggestions, you should be more specific in what you want.

Just a few general tips:
  • Don't mispell words on purpose, such as "designz." It's unprofessional, and makes it harder to find in search engines, because most people would likely type in "designs," not "designz."
  • It should be easy to memorize. Short and simple is the best option. However, short and not-so-simple may be hard to memorize. For example, if you buy the domain www.tdnrs.com (this domain name really sucks), people will have a hard time memorizing it, even though it's quite short.

From what I have heard, around 8-10 characters long, easy to memorize. This means, simple words that can be spelt easily.

I've picked a considerably short domain, eg. pl0x.com ... Doesn;'t mmean anything but its easy to type in. Make sure you fdont pick a too long domain nam e:P
