hello greetings. i was looking around the tutorials in the p2l site and click one that opened in the artworld.si site where the tutorial resides. i was looking in the artworld.si site and i was caught in awe by their banner specially the artworld text part. i tried to look for the tutorial on how to do the text part of the banner in the tutorials section of p2l on some tips related to do such effect but didnt find any. i also googled for it and also failed. anyway to cut it short i was wondering if somebody would help me achieve such effect.
here's the artworld.si site. i would appreciate if somebody would teach me how to do the text effect or the artworld sign itself.

Easy mate.
You can either add.. a black drop shadow, size 0 or 1, and keep adding the distance until you like it. Then it has a faint outer glow onit, white or yellow.. size = big
OR
Create the text, duplicate it.. put the bottom one black, top one white and then just move the white left and up a few times!
Hope this helps

thank you for your help guys and it helped me a bit. but im really interested on how they did the intricate text of artworld.si . i pressumed that i was done by converting the text into a workpath then painstackingly editing it. but ive tried that kind of technique but im no good at achieving beautiful results. is there a way or technique on achieving that kind of calligraphic or script like text or is the text in the artworld.si's banner a generic text? if its a generic text could you tell me what font it is?
greatly appreciate it if you can help me.

I'm not sure if it is a generic font, but if it is or there is one similar to it, it is probably on Dafont.com. I will try to find links to similar fonts and post them here if I do find any.
Here is a link to one I found which was similar: (check for others in the calligraphy section)
Chopin Script
