What are some good colors for making a professional website layout. But it has to be mostly codeing so it loads really quick.

anything dude, grey and green. white and grey. all shades of blues. anything at all. blue and orage. green and blue. purple and grey.

Anything you like, but keep in mind, that it needs to match with the oposite color...

Well the website it going to be for skining winamp, xfire, windows. I will also try to make it for hosting and some gaming stuff, so basically just for whatever i can put on there. There will also be some templates and tutorials.

If you have Flash and Photoshop I would have a good site for you, but if you don't it's still a good idea of how to get a design idea out of :D

yea stick with the same level of colours, like if your going to use a blue then stick with differnt dark and light blues and maybe a whitish grey, if you dont think 2 colours look good together chances are neither will others so use what you think is best

I like blue and green personly and sometimes I'm in the mood for black or grey. But thats just me :P

1 thing I have learned over the years is blue and red dont usually mix! (hard on the eyes)

trust me, when you use the right gradients, it works. my next layout is going to be red white and blue. and its gonna look better than my current.

just make sure the colors of your color scheme match, that there is contrast between text and background (white on black or vice versa), a good thing for coming up with color schemes when you lack inspiration can be found here
