This is my first attemp in illustrator and with any real vector work so dont be too hard on me. because i was only learning, this whole image took me around 2 and half - three hours

very impressive for your first try, i know my first try wasn't anywhere near that quality

Me likes! very good for your 1st though the sun is a bit plain, and the highlites on the octopus are a bit weird... (if they aren't highlites nvm then ) 9/10

Very cool image, I think the style is what is best about it
