Very nice job 
The only thing i dont like, is that i think you used bevel and emboss on the outer part, ive never liked the effect bevel makes and you can usually make a much better looking bevel effect on your own.
Otherwise its awesome, lovin the detail

tis a bevel, Sheer laziness on my part. I'm with you, If I,m doing a piece, that's not
just for fun, I usually avoid the bevel and use an airbrush technique with color and blur.
But if this were to be a part that was inserted into a larger illustration, then I may stick with it as is....Everything depends on everything else......

I like your creation, they are wonderful
The only thing i can say is that i would decrease the opacity of the light effect...

I don't really like that sort of grey on the top
