I've run out of steam with this one and I can't be arsed to finish it, so here's the final render (for now). Added some more bodywork, wheels and suspension detailing. Still loads to do but there you go. I'm gonna get my head into C4D and try to get some more realism in my modelling ;)

I've dabbled for a couple of years, but I've only been doing it seriously (in spare time) for about 7 months I suppose.

That's really good, you should try submitting it into the current competition we're holding, you could win some cool prizes ;)

How could you not like a bit o batman! No super powers, just some kick-ass!

Not the cheesy stuff but the darker twists from Frank Miller and people like that!

I tried to copy the feel of the Dark Horse Comics' graphic novels... Loads of sharp lines and deep black shadows with washed out colouring for most of the landscaping with small 'injections' of saturated colour and using the lighting like a colourist would. Lots of black with a minimum of 2 shades to highlight (I kept it to around three, blue for the moonlight, yellow for the streetlamp glow and white to pick out individual 'black' areas.

Not necessarily going for realism (which is difficult in Swift!) but more the feel of the books...
