What program is used to record video tutorials?

I'm looking for a program that a lot of people use to record their tutorials. I was wondering if there was one that included sound and was freeware. Please let me know. Thanks

macromedia captivate has a trial version, theres another one I would have to go hunting around for it when i find will post, its free.

get camtasia studio 2 not free but its really good. much better them captivate.
