How do you put a header like P2L's in an IPB Skin? By that i mean HTML! ;)

I think P2L's forum skin was hardcoded into the PHP by Jay, but you can edit most of the forum look using the skin management tools in the admin.

ahh the strait html coding in the php. im shure nothing will make you madder more if you dont know how to edit it! ;) really though, i tried strait editing the php files in my forum and it got my veins boiling....

Not sure if this will work but its my guess. If you go into the folder that has your forum files find index.php (I think that there are couple of them so make sure to find the right one) open this up in dreamweaver, or whatever you use, and go to the code, copy all of it. Next open up the layout for your site in dreamweaver. Then right click where you want the forum to be located. Go down to insert HTML and paste it. So if you layout is only a header with a big content area the forum should appear inside of it. Once again not sure if this will work. <3
