Hi i've been useing photoshop cs for about a day so i'm very new to it all, i was going over some tuts on this website but i keep hitting a dead end.

i'm looking to mak some good looking text graphics but when a tut comes to useing the fillter option about 99% of the options there are not clickable :)

the main option that i'm trying to use atm is the "wind" but as i've said this is not clickable, any advice :)

What do you mean "Not clickable". Most likely your are indexed color mode (image > mode > indexed color) Change that to RGB mode and your all set.

ok i tried the mode thing u suggested but it was already set up in RGB mode,

when i say not able to click, i mean the option in grey not black. no sub option come about.. its like when u first open PS and u can do anything till u have a file open :)
