Resizing an image....

... this may be hard to explain but please stay with it and if you can help that would be great.

Basically i have some images of paintings but when they were took the were from an angle therefore the final image is a true potrait image. for example the photo may have an a top width of 3cm and the bottom of the image to be 4cm, (does that make sense?)

What i wanna be able to do is the stretch the top of the image to make it 4cm and trying to keep the image looking as clear as possible,

Does this sound possible, thinking that the perspective tool in cs2 may be useful but dont have a good understanding of it so hoped there may be another option.

Thanks for any advice offered.

erm i think i know what ur on about, press Ctrl+T or go to edit>free transform.

hold ctrl and drag the top left boxes, hope that helps you

Looked at the free transform tool and the Warp option did exactly what i wanted.
