....... I have a seroies of images that i would like to make appear as if they were taken with a camera so would like to be able to add some sort of effect where it looks as if it was taken with a camera.
Also i have some photos of paintings that have been varnished with Matt Varnish so they look very dull, i wondered if there was any way i could make the photos looks like the original paintings were varnished?
Help to either of these would be great, thanks

A quick and easy way to make images look like they were taken from a film camera is to simply add lens flare( Filter > Render > Lens Flare), although it is hard to make it look good...

Mm...lens flare is tacky!
I'd suggest you add a shine and warp it so it looks curved..
