Just an interesting poll
I'm currently playing my über chipped Gamecube
Arrived today from the place where they install chips to consoles.

So what do you play?
If your console isn't there, reply it.
If you play more than one, pick your favourite one!

you know whats funny i baught Playstation 2 when it first came out in Australia that is, it was $900, i baught it. The next 2-4 months i looked in the newspappers they where only $400, then 6 months later they where for $200 with 2 free games and extra controller..

and i never ended up playing my PS2 only used it to watch DVD and play FIFA thats about it LoL

That's fooking insane, not even Playstation 3 is going to cost that much when it comes!

You can play Gamecube games with it too!

Umm... I play any Nintendo console I own
So that would mean I play...
NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Revolution (I wish), Gameboy, GBA SP, DS and... A Game and Watch.
I'm glad I don't have the Virtual Boy, no1 retina burner of the 1900s.

I have all three main consoles (PS2, XBox, and Gamecube, along with an XPS Gaming Machine. I didn't purchase them, they were all 'given' to me), and I mainly play the X-Box because of yummy Halo2 Live Action.

Yeah, I play my PS2 mainly to play DVD's or to play games.

The only problem with my PS2 with my TV is the DVD screen ratio thingy, can't be changed as everything is very slim, due to it being wide-screen which my TV isn't, but you get used to it in a few minutes.

I have about 12 games, but 4 or 5 I mainly play out of the 12.

Im not so sure that modifying consoles to play backed up copies of games is a criminal offence...

The article posted shows a kid getting busted for selling xboxes pre-loaded with 80 games! I can see how that would be against the law, but simplae mod chips are fine...

Actually, installing chips to different consoles is not illegal at all.
It's illegal to copy a game which you don't originally have.

Let's say you have a game, you backup it to your computer just to make sure.
Your game disc breakes apart or something like that, or for some reason
it's not working anymore.
So, you have a backup of the game you purchased on your computer.
You MAY burn it to your own use, but you may NOT give it to someone
else (exept if he has buyed that same game).

Installing the chip is not illegal, some BIOS:s are illegal though.
