Hiyaaaaaaaaaa, well i really need help i dont have the foggiest clue about making text look good i can only get the plain colour text no outline or gradiant even psp 7 was easier than this, can anyone tell me how you do good stuff with text

Well, i would definatley start by looking at the text effects cat. on P2L... secondly, i would note that... in my opinion....
Dont over use bevel and emboss, if you use it, dont make it like..... "depth = 1000"
definatley dont use to much outerglow, isee this happen too often, pople put it to 100% when it would look fine at 50%
Donthave bright reds on a blue background, make sure you choose the right colour. Using the eye dropper is a good idea, just choose some colours from your canvas.
Never leve the mode on normal, make sure its like stronger or crisp or something. using normal makes it anti-aliased and only looks good alot of the time on pixel fonts.
