Okay yesterday when I opened photoshop it initialized everything till it got to 'Initializing color preferences' and it just closes after that exact moment. But strangely enough ImageReady works perfectly so i went onto Adobe Forums and this guy had the exact same problem and he said:

" I got it working again. The registration file was corrupted, I had a backup copy of all my registry files. I "merged" these into my registry and whallah! Works great!! "

so now how would i do that? ;) sorry if it sounds dumb but I've never had this problem.

Probably the best method is to uninstall and install Photoshop again...

Have you tried emailing customer support with your serial number and fault? Or even posting on the adobe forum?
