i have an instrument i just think it would be pretty hard to model if you dont have one, because its very complicated and i doubt, if u just have a picture u will be able to model it

It doesn’t have to be an instrument that actually exists, so exact shapes and scales don’t really matter, it is intended to be as much a conceptual design project as it was a demonstration of modelling skill.

Personally, I’m really gunning for the everyday vehicle, as I have the Lord and Master of all ideas.

take a look at this, it just gave me an idea for a suggestion for your 3d comp, how about a "make a mascot" competition? We've been looking for a mascot for a while on P2L, and it would benefit us if someone could come up with an awesome one

no, Twodded already has the ladybug, I just thought it'd be fun to have a Twodded related competition, but as these are just for fun, these are of course your choice to choose what to do :P

persoanlly i feel we shud do a character any style of cartoon or animated character it lets people be very versatile and creative and use many techniques for making it and all levels of skilled ppl can do this kind of project, for advanced users they cud animate there characters etc.

realistic characters are hard to achive without the use of nurbs, and it would be hard for people to model if they only had swift like mooey

a character could be as simple as a sphere with some pipes coming out for arms..

its all about learning in these "competitions", in fact theres very little competition, its just a community building thing in my opinion :P
