This forum did such a great job a few years ago for me I am back. If an acceptable logo is used $100 will be payed via Paypal to the winner. If a logo is not used the best of the lot will still receive $50. You will know whether it is used by seeing what is used on the new website www.newventurecycling.com (not up yet). Winner will also receive a link to their site on our site.

Contest starts NOW and ends Sunday April 27th at 5pm Mountain Time. Winnner will be announced by Wednesday 30th at the latest.

The company is 'New Venture Cycling'. It is a bicycling tour company based out of Estes Park Colorado and will be doing tours locally, throughout the USA, and internationally. We want something that will not limit us to just tours if we want to grow in the future.

I will give a little direction for an idea that I have but PLEASE submit YOUR ideas too! You are the artists.

I want something simple. I was considering a yellow background with black lettering. On the left is a bike sprocket with a compass in the center. (be as abstract as you want) The name; New Venture Cycling, is in the logo. I would like the sprocket to be so identifiable that I can submit it for use as a trademark. This is what I have in mind. Please throw your ideas out as I am not 100% on this idea.

Please let me know if you have any questions about any rules of the game. Thanks - Good Luck! Vern Miller

I didn't see this contest until today but I will definitely enter this. Also I have an idea of my own that I am going to try but I also will enter a logo with a sprocket like you asked for. I am very naive and don't know what a sprocket is. (Is that the spokes or chain wheel?)

Here is a concept I came up with from your description. It needs some detail work and maybe some color changes but may work for starters.

here is my first try. Let me know what you think. I can make it more complicated or more simple just say the word. Also I am working on another concept.

Congatulations to Bouzy210. There were 4 people taking forever to make a decision, but in the end they liked the concept of the globe.

I will be contacting you off of this string.

Thanks again to the participants.
