Need some feedback on this. Finished coding the front page, just need some opinions on what I should change or make better.

Hey dude! Would love to help out with some feedback :) Going to be honest and give you some real feedback, no ass kissing ;) The first thing I see is too many fonts... as a rule of thumb, you want to go with 2 fonts or less on your design, currently I see at least 4 different fonts. Also the large font you are using for the header and stuff... visually the font doesn't look appealing at all to me, it doesn't look professional I guess... seems more suited to a gaming site for WoW or something. Again, that's just my personal taste, other may disagree.

The blue background on the content box on the right doesn't look right color wise... maybe a matching purple with a gradient to make it more appealing?

*delete* haha just realized the large letters in the header were a watermark. On my laptop it looks like you just have letters in the header and I was like WTF are those for?! Just looked on other PC and noticed it's a watermark on the entire image. *slaps head*

I like the way you've distributed your content and how you have your portfolio on the left side and content on the right... it sort of goes against conventional design but looks just fine. So content separation is good and I like the little headers you have for each area (again, not a fan of the font). For the "My Skills" section, I would add more line spacing between each skill, they look a little too bunched together atm. And just to point out an example, the My Skills section uses 3 different fonts.

OK I gotta run but I'll see if I can come back later and add some additional comments for ya :)

Faken hit most of the points I was going to mention.

I have a question and a suggestion...is this going to be a fluid layout or fixed width?

If it's fixed width id narraow the whole thing down a bit to a more common size of 980px, the width you currently have it at (1120px) might produce horizontal scroll bars for people using 1024x800 resolution.

For the text in the MySkills box, I would make that actual text and not images of text. If you're just using that as a place holder for real text when you code the layout then ignore this :P

I can't tell if it's just my monitor or not, but it looks like you're using a light horizontaly stretched gradient for the gray background. Unless you plan on keeping the height of each page of the site the same you're going to need to make that background a solid color or use a gradient that can expand vertically when you code the layout.
