Hi everybody!

I've joined this forum because I have an urgent problem that needs solving :(

I was drawing on my tablet in program called SAI.
I just saved my work in PSD extension (as I always do because it allows me to use it in different programs like Photoshop,Corel,IllustStudio and SAI without merging the layers), then I went and added few more 'dots' on it,then saved it again so I can get out of the program, but whole computer froze and I waited for atleast 5-7 min but it wouldn't unfreeze itself so I manually restarted it. When I turned it on and went to check on my file, it wouldn't want to open in neither of the programs I have!

Every program kept saying: ' Could not complete your request because it is not a valid Photoshop document.'

I searched for it in Temp files, but no luck! (SAI is a portable program therefore needs no installing)
It still has it size of 4,02 MB
Changing extension in .png or .tif doesn't work either! I really have no more ideas! I even tried downloading few different programs that are supposed to repair psd files, but no luck there either, they kept saying there is nothing to repair…

Please help me,I've been doing this piece whole day, and it's one of my best works ever,I really don't want to loose it…:o

I've uploaded the file if some of you guys wants to give it a try at repairing :( It can be found here ( http://www.2shared.c...Q/3_online.html ) Click where it says : Save file to your PC

Other information:

Windows 7
2 GB RAM
Photoshop CS5

Any kind of suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! <3

First of all, thank you for answering :)

I know how to make system restore, but now I checked, and I don't have a restore point created before that happened, new ones that were created few hours after it have deleted the old ones >.< Is there any other way?
Also how do I record the file cheksum? And then later restore it? Can you please explain it step by step?

Thank you <3
