Hello,

Long time lurker and first time poster here.

I currently run and manage a World of Warcraft guild website along with the DKP, the web system that we use (EQDKP Plus) currently doesn't have an option / plugin that will allow peoples DKP to decay by a certain percentage each week. So instead of sitting and going through each persons dkp and changing it manually so...

I would like to make a VB application that can connect to the site and mine the data from my database and then manipulate it in visual basic to run an equation on the records and then upload the changed records to the site so its effectively a 3 button press program; Download - Equate - Upload.

So my problem here being that its been a good 3-4 years that I last touch VB and would like some help with the connecting to a web mySQL database. I can do the rest myself so i'm only leeching a little bit of help here :D

This is a big problem that I am trying to solve that a lot of Warcraft guilds have using this system so I intend to release this "fix" and I can stick the names of who helped me into the credits of the program!

Thanks for any help in advance.

A simple search of the forums would have returned your requested results. Here's a tutorial I posted on here a while ago.
