looks good, I agree with everyone about giving credit to the template maker unless what Donna said applied. One thing I dont like is on the homepage the huge "<< Previous 1 2 Next >>".

the sites a big improvement, the static frame on the right needs tweaking its very jerky, and the top navigation needs to be full links not just linked icons.

And you should remove the registration popup, its annoying and it tempts no one into joining rather the oposit effect.

its nice but it doesnt make me feel like i want to join our read your content just look and close window, theres nothign that tells me directly what you are doign and why i want to read your info, apart from maybe one line. You ahve cracked the layout but now you need to dig deeper and get people interested into the main content.

PS: try not to base it round a forum, im not sayign dont have a forum btu dont make the whoel content a forum, too much hassle and it really puts me off,

1º I think you need a header
2º latest posts should have diferent row colors so it won't be a mess
3º if you use spiffy corners, be sure that your background is plain or that it have the same background color in the roundcorners

I like to consider myself computer literate, so its kinda sad when I can't figure out what your website is in less than 10 seconds. A header would be a vast improvement in both comprehension and navigation.

Thanks for the tips guys. It is really helping our staff with the upcomming improvements. I understand how some users are not able to know what the purpose of the website is under 10 seconds, so we will try to make it more clear. One thing though, if you read the title of the website, it states what we are, and what we do.

I honestly don't think that many people perusing the internet actually consider what the title is, they just want to see the purpose on the page.

I'm glad we're helping! :o

Agreed When you go to a website, the url is usually the title, i.e monkeyman.<sufix> wouldnt have a title that says Tea sets r us. so most people skip the title area as it usually contains no usful information and probably adverts, unless you have navigation near it which you dont.

and remove the popup, its extremely annoying, it deters people from joining even more so than not beingable to read the posts.

Achually thats something ive always thought was utterly pointless....i mean....whats the point? Sure, maybe have the site name but otherwise why the url?

Yeah on all my sites I make I will always have the site name and a slogan in the title but never the url.. You can find the url in the url box whats the point of having it in your title. ;)

Back to the site anyway, yeah its a improvement, and who said 'maybe you should stick to one version for a while' sorry I'm lazy and cba to quote :) I think he's just trying to put all your suggestions into action, theres nothing wrong from going to version to version quickly. I use to do it alot till i found the design I like.

i hate, really really really hate sites that play on the fact that its v# of there site.. I dont give a monkeys what version your site is on.. and they usually make an entire splash page, saying Version 2!!! click to enter Version 2!!!..

It just really annoys me.

ive gone through multiple designs but i dont say its version #.. its uterly pointless to me. it doesnt bring in more traffic, its not a good advertising ploy.. so i see no benefit from it..

I released a new design, and used all of your comments and advice in it. Please rate it at http://www.zenomgt.com. Which is my homepage, as you know. I didnt put anywhere on the design that this is V3 except in the main posting area, where you post news. Just letting the folks know that v3 has launched, you know just to keep track. I didnt make a splash page or anything thats annoying. In fact, thats probably one of the only places you will see the following characters followed by eachother, V3.

Well for starters, I don't like the font thats used for the titles of the posts, its to hmm hard and in your face. Almost like it would hurt if i touched it, try a softer font. I don't like that navy blue/black that the posts are in either it kind of clash's with the rest of the site colour scheme.

I think you should work on the web site header aswel, its abit to dark. Maybe thats to go with the site design, but I woudln't really remember the header image its to plain and theres not enough on it. Thus not remembering your site. If I was you I'd look around at some other sites, ones that are in the similar categorie as the site your trying to make, and get some ideas from what you see.

Good luck! ;)

Regards.!
