Hello everyone-

Well, here's the situation: I currently own a domain/server as my private portfolio/playground I guess. Anyways, one day, I realized that I had a lot of space that I wasn't really using, so I decided to donate some of the space and a subdomain to a clan of mine. I set up the subdomain and then installed a phpbb forum for them to use.

Well there it was a number of months later and I realize that the overall traffic is increasing exponentially. So I decided to try to pull a profit by putting on some ads. I went to the most popular program on the web, Google AdSense. Well, after about a month I'm sorry to say that they found fault in my membership and discontinued our relations. This banning of relations, as I found in their policy, cannot be undone as apparently my appeal was denied as well...

So here it is now a number of months later and I still have no means of generating revenue for the site. Finally, I decided to sit myself down and try to find another place. I applied to Yahoo! Ads twice but both times I did not receive a reply. Now then, the question I pose to you, good reader, is...

1. What ad service, for a publisher, would you recommend?
2. Is there a reason Yahoo! Ads did not reply? Does it have to do with the fact that I applied with the subdomain? (I did this because the majority, if not all, of the traffic came from this subdomain and because it was not connected with the rest of the site I felt it a better idea to just type it in directly.)
3. Should I purchase a domain name specific to the forum for an increased chance of membership with Yahoo! Ads?
4. Is there a work-around to the Google AdSense dilemma?

I'm a U.S. citizen with an SSID and everything so trust in that the fault does not lie on my profile.

Thank you very much for your time!

Text Link Ads, AdBrite, tribalfusion.com

Yes, maybe.

3. Should I purchase a domain name specific to the forum for an increased chance of membership with Yahoo! Ads?
You could try with another domain. Once you have one domain, yahoo allows any domain you put ads on.

4. Is there a work-around to the Google AdSense dilemma?
Try another email account. If your site deals with guns, drugs and any other "bad" stuff is the reason you might have been banned.
