Hope all is well with you guys and that you've had a great summer (it's still broiling hot up here in Montreal, Canada despite heading in to September) and that you're ready for a new school year, busy quarter at work, or whatever else you've got cooking in your life! I have been very busy working on my fixer-upper house, however I have returned to my P2L duties and working very hard on improving the site, fixing up broken links and functions and getting us back on track in terms of traffic, community participation and just having fun in general.
So along with that, one thing I am addressing with Nick right now is our Topsites link exchange system. Don't worry, we're not doing anything drastic but we are going to be tidying up and updating our custom script to keep abuse to a minimum because I am finding a lot of people are joining, but not linking back to us. While we work on the automated pruning system that will remove sites with no traffic after a certain amount of time automatically, we will be manually running a script that will remove anyone that has not been linking to us in the last 30 days or more. So if you are on the topsites link exchange link but you are NOT linking back to us, your site will be removed. If you want to stay on the list, you will need to add a link to P2L on your site.

We're going to add the ability to see what the inbound link is for your site when you link to us, but for now, here is how to figure out what URL you should use to link:
1. If you have a site on our topsites listing, go to the edit page at http://www.pixel2lif.../topsites/edit/
2. Click on the title(s) of your site(s) or the image banner(s) if you're using one and it will take you to the edit page for that particular site. The edit page URL will look something like this:
http://www.pixel2lif...opsites/edit/8/
3. In the example above, the number '8' will be replaced with the ID of your site in your browser. Use this link http://www.pixel2lif.../topsites/in/8/ as your inbound link but replace the number '8' with your site's ID number. This is the URL you need to use to link to us! If you don't use this link, we can't track the traffic you send to us and it will appear as though you're not linked to us.

If you're NOT on the topsites link exchange, then JOIN! Just head on over to http://www.pixel2lif...m/topsites/add/ and you can add up to 10 websites to the list, just make sure you link back to us so we can approve you! If your site isn't approved within 24 hours, we probably can't find our link on your site.
