I need to make a template for printing up price tags for our sales system.
I figure Im going to use Photoshop to do it, but What I need to know is, how do I set print fields on the page where I need them?
I mean.. how can I make it so that the print field remains the same (And can I make it unchangeable so that if I have someone else doing it.. they cant change/move the print field?)
Now that I look at it.. it seems like a stupid Question... Hehe
Okay... Here's another small project...

Hmm.. I'm kinda confused... Aren't these pretty much like labels? I thought you select the label templates in like Word or something and use that to print?

Well.. Not so much like Labes, as we use Price Signs...
(We use barcode stickers.. but those print off our barcode printer)
What I need to make are Signs... Like Display Signs... That describe the product, catch your eye and tell y ou the price...)
These are the ones we are using right now.. and they are Hideous.. =)

Their choices of Colors Suck... their designs suck.. and they look all 70's.. =P
I was hoping I could design my own.. send them someplace to have them printed.. and use my own template...
And Customize them with our store name, etc...

Oh I see... well as long as the user is able to open the PSD and edit it, they can move the text field to where ever they want. I don't know of any way to actually lock the field down.

With the layers pallete open select your layer. Then, just above where the layers are listed, there should be a few images and one of them should be a padlock. Click the padlock and this will lock your layer.
Keep in mind though - it will lock your layer from being moved - but the user can always unlock it.
