I do some web design using Fireworks, but I have often wondered where some of the images come from that people use on some sites like www.templatemonstor.com.
I do have some ideas on my head of sites I would like to try and make.
I am not sure if I should be using Fireworks or some other app, or maybe a combination of software packages.
I see loads of nice looking images even on this forum and would like to have a go myself, but I am not quite sure where I should start.
Thanks

Be very very careful using any images of people without written permission unless otherwise stated.
TemplateMonster is PS, Flash & SwishMax btw they normally provide all images, .PSD; .HTML; .FLA; .SWF; and SWI's

I will take a look at the sites. I have heard of Corbis.com before.
With regards to images like http://pixel2life.co.../08-03-2005.jpg , can Fireworks be used to create images like this?
Or should I be looking at some other software app?
Thanks

I made that in Cinema 4D. A 3D program created by Maxon. With regards to images like http://pixel2life.co.../08-03-2005.jpg , can Fireworks be used to create images like this?
Or should I be looking at some other software app?
Fireworks is a 2D program meaning its flat. If i wanted to get another angle on my image I could rotate the camera and render a different image.
Its not the program you use though, its the way you use it. I've seen great things with MSPaint.

It seems may be I should consider switching to something that can do 3d.Although, it fireworks is anything like photoshop.... yes, you can create it.. You have to rEAalyyyyy know what your doing however
I just wanted to have a tinker around. I know a simpl-ish image that I would like to make. But I wanted to find out what is available and if there is support like pixel2life for it.
Thanks
