hello people, I was wondering if anyone knows any good sites to learn openGL, or if anyone has any books that are like less than $50.00 that teach well, then please tell me

what is opengl??? and what is it used for..?

opengl is a programming language, its used mainly to program graphical stuff, its also the main programming language used to program games. I did one tutorial a long time ago that made it so you walk around a room with brick walls, you can apply your own textures and everything(i think) the brick wall was built into openGL so I dont really know, its pretty cool.what is opengl??? and what is it used for..?

You should also look for the blue & red book for the latest opengl. They are great books, the old ones are available for free online.Best place to start
