Before we announce the winners, I would like to thank Jason from CanenArt.com for sponsoring this contest for us and providing the awesome prizes we are about to dish out! I would also like to thank the team of judges that busted their butts to pick a winner from the stack of AWESOME photos we received! Each of these judges are qualified photographers that Jason is associated with outside of P2L, so it was fun to be able to include P2L staff in this contest!

I would also like to say that this was probably the coolest contest I have had the pleasure of running on P2L because it was AMAZING to see photos coming in from all over the world. We received entries from all over Europe, Iraq, Egypt, China, Japan, Australia and the Americas, and it was awesome to see how many talented photographers we have among us! Well done everyone and I want to once again thank all of you that took the time to participate!

Congrats Rick, you are the winner of a VERY difficult vote from the judges and have won top honors for your photo! You will be emailed shortly with further details to receive your prize.

Our digital creation winner ended up winning by default, because he was the only person to submit a 100% digitally created image AND was able to produce the source of the image. So lets have a round of applause for John Gerhardt (aka Johno) for his entry entitled "Exploration"!

Well where to start, amazing job everyone who entered, some amazing photos were entered. Thanks Dan for setting up the comp and thanks Jason and his judges, all done a great job and picked an amazing photo!

I just wanted to Thank everyone that participated in this contest. It was a blast to see all these awesome photos from all over the world. It was very hard to pick just one. We spent many hours just trying to pick one.

Congrats to Rick Gruijters (aka RedDragon). That is a great photo. One thing we liked so much about it is how nature had a way of looking like a work of art, and you was able to capture this awesome photo. Great Job!

John Gerhardt (aka Johno) it was great to see this awesome work of art too. Looks like it took you some time to make that. Congrats for winning the digital creation part.

Wow thanks a lot! Have to send the little crocodiles a cake

My picture was taken on a crocodile farm in Malaisia. Speaking of sitting between the crocodiles... A group of American students had a guide who wanted to prove he should have been hired by Animal Planet. He went inside and tried to grab a little crocodile. Minutes later he came out bleeding like hell, guess those little monsters know how to bite

A big congrats to Johno too, what an amazing piece of art, I love it! Overall a great contest, very cool to see top-quality pictures from all over the world

I'm sort of surprised to be getting it haha! I was in Africa during the entire contest so I figured someone else would take the win, but this is really great. I wish I had a couple more days so I could have submitted some of my animal shots hehe
