Yeah, so this was actually supposed to be a rather dark-themed wallpaper, but I couldn't find the inspiration and toyed around a bit. Found that select tool + feathering + changing hues on a render is pretty awesome :P

I present to you, Eye Candy (because it looks like a medley of jolly ranchers :D )

C+C welcome if you care

VERY COOL Parts, Love the 3D Pieces and coloring on them.
To be blunt - Too white = Too bright = Not a fun wallpaper.

A few modifications to this and different versions would really be cool because you are on to something here.

I would just loose the "Eye Candy" text and it would look great.

thanks guys for the suggestions, i'll touch it up once i find the time this week

@lostseed is the white background really that ugly? I actually originally liked how the green render was just sitting there against the white...any suggestions as to general background color?

@Clandestine lol yeah my friend kinda suggested that I remove it too...just curious, what's your reasoning behind removing it?

thanks guys for C+C, keep it coming :P

The only reason I would suggest losing the text is because of the brighter colors, it doesn't blend to well with the overall image and tends to draw my eyes away from the graphics.

The white does look good if you like white.
I like wallpapers with less saturation and mild, not too dark, but definately not bright. Its really your taste and what you like. I just dont like white on my desktop haha, other than that yeah the green does look really cool off of it

About removing the text, you may not have to if you used a better font. Mainly because the font is "Bubbly" and silly, but the architecture of the backdrop is more solid, the two dont go together (the font that is).

I say remove the text cause it kind of takes the effect away from the render. The render is thick and smooth and the text is just like a blob... Doesnt really fit it IMO. Maybe make the text thick and smooth to fit the render.

Change the opacity for the text layer to something like 55-100/255 (20-30%)
