Does anybody know how to do this kind of effect? Its seems to me the image is a photo with some kind of filter o effect.

Thanks! ;)

Looks like it could be done using quite a few transparent gradients.

Looks like a vectorized photo someone then made masks out of the layers of and airbrushed/ applied gradients to from the edges in in a artistic fashion.

hard to say how to do it. The artist has sat down with a piece of tracing paper and two pictures of lovers, he then drew lines ontop of the tracing paper to suggest how he can maximise the layer content in colour. He then scanned it in and then used the pen tool and gradients and sometimes the use of stoking the lines the pen tool can give and gausion bluring it.

I'm affraid there is no quick way to this piece of work there is only time/effort and a crap load of artistic skills. I attempted something simular for my Art A-level exam but with ink and paper...god damn hard to do with no draft drawing :)

or he just used a 3d program to start the drawing, which at least makes the selection part a little easier,
still he had a lot of time put in the brushing, like it too :D
