I currently have a .mov file, which is a virtual tour.
what i want to do is import it into flash, in order to add a loading instance on frame 1, and then go to frame 2 where the converted swf virtual tour will load. In the end to be published online.
Questions:
1) What program converts a .mov virtual tour to a .swf virtual tour?
2) How can i make the .mov load in html, after a loading script in flash?
What i am aiming for:
.mov file to load on website after the .swf loading file at the begining.
or
application which converts .mov to .swf (which will make the virtual tour work)
or
Both
Help greatly appreciated!

I don't really understand your 2nd question. But for the first question, try Sorenson Squeeze. It's not the only one out there, but in my opinion, it's the best.
But, what it does will only be converting the .mov to a .swf. It will not add a preloader. For that, you have to do the preloader in Flash, then import the swf in.

If your on a budget you can use the following encoder: http://www.rivavx.co...encoderhelp&L=3
This is not as good a Sorenson Squeeze but it is free

Personally I would keep it at .mov and just make sure you offer a link for the player.
Movie files are widely excepted nowadays anyway.

If you have flash then you can do it with that. But be aware that it increases the file size rather large.

I would bet about 30-40% of internet users do not have Quicktime installed. FLV's are becoming the web standard for video, and since 98% of internet users have Flash player, go with a swf or flv instead.
