HOW TO LOWER THE SIZE OF A ANIMATED GIF

thelighthousekeeper's Photo thelighthousekeeper 16 Mar 2005

Hi! I have created the animated signature you see below (http://www.angelfire...SIG_RESIZED.gif) but it is too large as a file and runs too slow. Do you happen to have any ideas how to lower the size of the file without losing the certain animation effect? Grateful if you can explain me how... :D Thnx

make it smaller, or use less frames

Thnx for your reply! I thought it would be as simple as that. However, I am not quite sure that I can have the same smooth effect by cutting off some frames. I will have to expirement on that. Thnx, again! :)

make sure you cut out frames in intervals like keep 1 fram get rid of 1 keep 1 get rid of 1. or keep 1 get rid of 2 etc
