Rightyo, so i'm not usually one for taking photos of animals in the zoo, kinda defeats the object and makes it way too easy. But I had just invested in a new lens, the Sony 500mm F8 Reflex, and wanted to give it a bit of a field test to see how the results went on something easy to shoot as it can be a tricky lens to use.
I'm quite happy with some of the results so just wanted to share with you:
Thanks

Well, wow, I had no idea that they even produce that type of lenses anymore, pitty that there isn't one for Canon.
Anyway great shots. My faves are the parrot and zebra.
Only bad thing to say: on some photos there seems to be a little lack of sharpness - propably it is just the thing with a new lens and first shots with it on a field

Thanks mate, yeah the lens itself is quite cool. Its quite tricky to use as it has a very small depth of field, and I was using manual focus alot of the time, so it just takes a bit of getting used to with getting it in perfect focus
