Hey P2L~

I'm pretty sure that any in here that has shot a video with a point and shoot share my pain.
WHen you preview the video on the camera, everything looks amazing. You have darks and lights, the colors aren't super saturated or anything like that. All of a sudden, when you bring it into your comp, all these really nasty super saturated colors show up with really heavy oranges and blues.

I'm using a lumix zs5 to record in 720 right now and i'm wondering if anybody has a solution to this problem.

I've tried fiddling around in after effects with the leveling, and color balance etc, but no matter what i do i cant get it to look as soft as the original when you preview it on the camera screen. The graduation into the shadows appear much harsher, the colors seem to slap itself in the face and leave these huge palette marks across the video.

If anybody has had experience with this before, advice would be greatly appreciated =]
