Photoshop CS and CS Enhanced may have a steeper learning curve, but their advantages lie in their expandability and depth of offerings. An investment in CS, as well as greater drain on the wallet, will entail more time spent learning how to use Photoshop and how to make its filters, tools, and effects work for you. CS offers a lot more room to grow than Elements, and may better benefit the user interested in expanding his or her repertoire and learning new skills, rather than simply editing and managing a library of photos.

As per my opinion, Adobe Photoshop CS5 is one of the best version of photoshop. This new keeps all the old features but with slight change. It shows minimalist design, nested tool and many more. It is also allow tabbed working area which will allow you to work with the multiple files at the same time.
