Just to help everyone going apeshit over a supposed rip of P2L over at 4templates, you guys are jumping the gun more than just a little lol! That template is completely legit and nothing illgal is happening as far as I know.

The current P2L layout is obviously based off that template. I purchased it for a work related project that has nothing to do with P2L because my boss found it one day when it had first been released and wanted me to use it for said project. Well I loved the layout the second I saw it. We never used the template so when it came to designing the new P2L layout, I didn't even hesitate to use this template. Obviously I had to heavily modified it to suit our layout requirements and design requirements but the core images are from that template.

So now I'm sure there's going to be the people that will say "I can't believe P2L used a template" or something to that effect. My response would be: "Get over it." I work crazy hours to keep this site going, so if I can save time and still keep everything looking and working great, then I'll take whatever shortcuts I can. I assure you MANY hours went into the graphics even with a template. Everything had to be redone from scratch and I basically used the template's color codes and icons as a reference.

I'm confident enough in my skills to know I can design prety much whatever I want, but when you work fulltime as an IT director, build client websites, have a family to take care of AND run the biggest tutorial search engine on the net, you learn to save time in a hurry, but not at the end user's expense.

I read some pretty bizzarre comments on another forum i just shook my head to them lol I saw P2L way before any of you's did months before it was officially released.

Good on you, I mean the layout suits this kind of site well and its obvious you heavily edited it so its not like "omg that guy over at p2l is using a complete template!!11!1! omfg!" -

Haha, that's awesome.

I don't see why people would think "I can't believe P2L used a template", it's pretty obvious a lot of design and coding has gone in to it to develop it to the great site it is now.

Acutly. I brought this rumor to P2L. A discussion in irc got up and someone posted a link to 4 templates. Then I came here, sent a few pms. Posted a topic. And was on my why of trying to be a P2L post whore
