Awesome tutorail, wish I had something like that when i first started. Just remeber to always think ahead when you slice, and dont go overboard. What you slice will be tables, so dont make it table hell... Easy and simple does the trick, but make sure its logic in how you do it.

So if you want a table content box inside a table content box (like the main p2l page) you just simply put the code inside the larger box?

The index page of p2l is alittle cluttered, but it is pretty good code so I like it.

I've tried a lot of tuts, but I just dont understand how they apply to my layout.. my layout is strange.. lol.. Can anyone walk me through it, its my first time.. im sure once I get walked through the first time, I'll get it..
Here ish a pic: ![]() HELP!! btw, its just that middle box and the side runners which I want to expand... |

The fact that you have some faded images on your table background complicates things though... you should walways try to use solid color backgrounds for boxes that you want to stretch with content. Yea! Great tutorial, unfortunatley i already know dreamweaver extremley well... If only you would have been around a year ago...
vexir, as faken said, try and use solid colours, although you can have gradients... just as long as they are going horizontal (right to left) that way, they can be repeated without any confusion. |

Yeah, that gradient is right to left, but I can change it if you like... I sitll dont understand how to do it though..

Plus my layout is all oen image, not like yours in which just that content box its own img

ok ive done it now, the tbleing got abit confusing when wonting to make a hole layout like the dude above but i figured u have to put tables inside other tables t get it right, lol
im not so good at coding layouts and this was hte first time ive used dreamwaver and its helped thanks. |

Did you try dragging it in design view? And mke sure all images are the correct size as in they arnt stretched.
