Ad Guidelines

When selling a website or a domain name, it's a good idea to include the following information about what you are offering:

- Minimum acceptible offer
- BIN (Buy it Now) price
- Proof in the form of screenshots of advertising revenue, traffic, and other statistics
- Advertising Revenue per month
- Operating costs
- Google PR and Alexa Rank
- Link to the site
- Time it's been up and running
- Terms of your sale (How to be paid, when you will hand over the site and how etc...)

Provide as much information as you can about your site and what's involved when running it. The more you ask for your site, the more questions you will get, so check often.

What should I ask for?

Many people have no idea how to calculate the value and average asking price of their website. As a general rule of thumb, you should ask approximately your average revenue in the last 3 or 4 months x 12. This means your revenue for a year based on your current average would be your asking price. Here's how to calculate it:

If you have made the following with adsense:

June: $46
May: $33
April: $55

Your average monthly revenue based on those numbers would be (46+33+55) / 3 = $44.67

Your asking price for this site would be 44.67 x 12 = $536.04

You can certainly ask more, but you will need to justify it.
