What email marketing programs do most people use? Ive been working with PHP List, but i'm not really very happy with the results.

Are you refering to emailing just anyone or just members of your website? What are you marketing or selling?

If your on a shared hosting environment you are only allocated so many emails sent per day so be weary of that if you go over your allowed quota they can suspend your account, also if your site sends too many it'll be blacklisted for spam.

I used to use elistas but unless you have an account there you can no longer create one, they changed to http://www.zoomgroups.com/ and I don't know much about that as I use my own mailing server.

I basically just want a way for people to submit their email on a forum on my website. Then I want a way to send out a "blind", HTML email to all of the people in the database.

I have my own email server so that won't be a problem.
