Well...If I had read those post earlier

...
Anyways...

i can see you went to a lot of effort with this

- the underlying concept and the mental idea of 'spa' are right on. it's nice and cohesive (it hangs together well as a whole, that is, and has a theme flowing through it that works. i'd say for my own tastes (and probably those of the client) that although it reflects the middle-aged market very well, i don't like the white/outline font, it uses a colour scheme i'm not
quite happy with, and there's too much vertical heigh (see pm), maybe not quite bold enough. but
1) Fairly Feminine
2) It says 'spa'!
3) It hangs together well
4) It's not a been there, done that logo
d4rkst0n3 - you're right about your last logo design, it is nicer

. The typography/colour is very male though, you might want to try a change of fonts (lowercase sans generally works well for this type of logo), and drop some saturation out of the colours.
I've decided I should give feedback at this point, stops people shooting in the dark. Remember, if I criticise less than five things, I'm fairly happy

. You'll get used to me! I'll be running, as I said, a few more comptetions after this one - in many ways this is a test case for you. Mostly I want one of you to confirm he/she got paid before running more logo design jobs. (if you want a preview, look at
www.webshop365.net - needs a new logo/scheme)
thanks to all the people who've replied and shown work up so far.
