best-insults.com is releasing some major updates within the next 2 months, with this in mind i feel its about time to get a logo for the site... still haven't got one lol.

Anyways, the logo must be web format only, I dont want print format at all.

Ideas for the logo that I have is like a middle finger or someone pulling a moony but feel free to use/do anything.

deadline is for the end of feb, thats 5 weeks. Lets see how this turns out

For an idea of the stye of dseign im going for the site, pixel2life members have exclusive access to the beta design site. (not really that exclusive but no-one else has seen it except best-insults staff )

As someone who has been through lot of contests, Id sugest you dont make such long contests...
In a lets say 7-10 days contest youll get equal numbers of entries...
This way, everyone will wait the 7 last days then submit something...
And designers can provide you with an awesome logos in a day or two, and noone wants to wait a month for something

No offense or anything, just my humble opinion

P.S. Ill probably wait till the last couple of days first entrants never win

Hey zymurgy, just curious, is the link you provided to (best-insults.com/beta) the *new* layout it's going to be like? because it looks the same as the one on best-insults.com...don't wanna be designing for the wrong layout, cuz you said you had a new layout going...

My entry:

I like the concept of the bottoms ones, however, you cant see the word insults and as this is part of the sites name i would require it to be seen. Great start though.

I like it, symbolizes the "best" part of the name more, thats great

also coincides with an idea for an update sometime this year so could be a possible there

again, great start. I am quite pleased with the ideas that are coming out so far and look forward to sitting down with the rest of the team of best-insults and picking the final design.

I know there is a while to wait yet, but i could end the competition earlier and it wont matter because the logo wont be added till the updates released on the 28th of Feb.

The humble beginnings

Awesome. Really liking a few of these ideas. I have got the money ready in my paypal account, 13 days to go!

When I thought of Best Insults, the one thing that kept running through my mind was insult comic. So here's what I came up with.

Thats cool man.

One thing I have noticed on MTV recently is a program called "Yo Mamma" dunno if anyone has seen it but its absolutely hilarious. Basically people have stand offs and insults each other and their mums which is one of the ideas i have had for best insults and will be implemented this year some time.

Maybe that will spark some more ideas for people?
