Tutorial-Index Layout Contest

Yes, it's that time again! Time to redo our (Tutorial-Index.com) layout and give you something more sleek, and beautiful. Better yet, you get to choose it(!) but, you we do have a couple of preferences of our own that you need to keep in mind.

Preferences for making a layout:
1.The layout must be 2-3 columns.
2.We don't want anything too colorful but we would like colors that stand out and are effective. Also, if you can, please limit the colors to the kind we have on the site.
3.Make sure that when you create the layout, keep in mind that we use quite a bit of content, but at the same time, know that we do not want too much content in the layout.
4.There must be a spot for a 468X60 near the top of the layout.
5.A Layout that can fill up most, if not all of a page. 98% preferably
6.When making a layout, remember that the winner will have to provide the Photoshop Document (.PSD), so save the file as a PSD also.

And what reasons would they be? Can you specify why you would cancel a competition, last time I saw someone put something like that they had no intentions of ever paying anyone no matter what was submitted I'd be very skeptical of this competition with that clause.

I like the sound of the contest but I sorta agree with Donna. I don't want to put the effort in for nothing.

Yeah, i wouldn't like to pay $200 for any old crap that i could do, mind you i wouldn't like to pay $200 for anything unimportant that i could do myself.

if only like 3 entries are received, and they're all crap, then we might move the contest or cancel it for another date.

Why did someone remove Angel Eyes' entry? Thats unfair both to Angel Eyes who worked hard to make a template, and rmgr who specific asked for more entries. And rmgr went to this site to have a competition, so it should be up to him if he wants more entries. This is just my opinion anyway...

I removed it (it's set invisible) as it was entered 5 days after this closed unfair to everyone who has entered and rmgr had already told me he had a winner, if rmgr wanted more entries he would of posted that 5 days ago instead he told me he already had a winner for this competition. And no it's not my competition but I administrate on these Forums and if I see something wrong then I'll act on it not for my benefit but for the entire community so you all don't get ripped off.
