Tutorial: This is my first tutorial so wish me luck!

1. Open up gimp and select File>New (cntr+n) set you width and height i used 400x100

2.Now Click on the Fill with gradient button and choose the neon green,cyan,or yellow gradient

3. Now start clicking and dragging little lines accross the screen and you should see the lightsaber effect!

Keep experementing with this till you find your perfect background!

I can tell that you cout out the "renders" with the lasso thing. Just use color to alpha. rips it right out and makes it transparent!
