I bought the upgrade to "Photoshop CS3" and not "Photoshop CS3 Extended". But after I installed it. The "About Box" says "Photoshop CS3 Extended" and the title window bar says "Photoshop CS3 Extended". The box, CD, and all the packaging says "Photoshop CS3" (without the word "Extended").
So do I have "Photoshop CS3" or do I have "Photoshop CS3 Extended"? All these different version are very confusing. What is the difference anyways?

well do you have the capabilities of using 3d layers? check under layer, and see if it says 3d layers.
Or if under windows it says animation im pretty sure non extended doesn't have animation either.

Yes, I see those menu items. So I guess Abobe put the extended edition in the standard non-extended box (either by mistake or on purpose).
Surely not a bad thing!? It means you get more features than you would in the standard version... like 3D!
